Shonine Wijayanayake is an experienced paralegal who assists attorneys with complex civil litigation, bankruptcy and criminal defense matters in both state and federal courts. Her extensive experience in both New York and California includes complex commercial and civil litigation, patent and trademark litigation, Repetitive Stress Injury litigation, asbestos litigation, securities class action and derivative litigation and real estate law, bankruptcy law, matrimonial law and entertainment law. Shonine was recognized as a contributor to the winning defense of IBM in numerous landmark Repetitive Stress Injury cases. She has worked on numerous Chapter 11 bankruptcies and has assisted in the internal investigations of major corporations.
Shonine graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Shonine earned her paralegal diploma from New York University, where she went on to earn a Master’s degree in French Studies in 2001.
